Summary
A pseudo-orthopedic castle story of falling in love and killing each other! Why is my brother like this? After his parents died unexpectedly, Andrew was “imprisoned” at home by his brother Ludwig. His brother Ludwig, known as the “Son of the Devil,” made a harsh request: If Andrew wants to be free, he must become Ludwig’s heir and kill his brother completely…

@FF_lover:
WAIT I THINK I FOUND WHAT YOU DID – paideía, “upbringing, training” on Wikipedia! And Mirriam Webster mentioned the Greek for child! Okokok, I think that’s solved!!! I think it IS the worlds most bizarre google translate of step brothers!!!
Thanks!!! 😂

@FF_lover: orthopedic refers to the medical practice of correcting skeletal deformities – you’re correct on the root of ortho, but “pedic” refers to feet (as in pedicure)
The very similar word you’re thinking of that DOES refer to children, that I’m guessing you got to because of another medical practice – pediatrics – comes from a similar word, which is ‘pedo’ (or according to like every etymology on the internet the similar Greek, which is ‘pais’ – I call bs on that) As in the word you’re unfortunately now thinking of. 😅😅😅
Sadly I don’t think we’re any closer to figuring out what they meant to say 😂😂😂 if an alternate meaning of pedic WAS raising children I would ALMOST say it was the worlds most bizarre google translate of step brothers, but I don’t see how that’s possible

Ortho means ‘correcting/straightening’ and pedic means ‘rareing children’ so maybe it’s a correcting the mistakes of the children but pseudo (fake) story? Kinda weird way of saying it’s fictional lmao
