In his first life, Song Yan wasn’t the one who told him to be with him, MC decided that all on his own because he even admits that he(MC) was obsess. We find out that MC basically forced himself on Song Yan, taking advantage of SY’s heartbreak and drunkenness to insert himself in a relationship with him. I’m not surprised SY didn’t treat MC well because he acted like a complete White Lotus or Green Tea B*tch. And because we readers only see his POV and he is the designated Protagonist, we’re being gaslighted to root for this shit MC. God, I hate it here.
