You know, any sane person should probably ask a few more questions about the hairpin. She said she obtained and was not given it by someone. Besides, can a lady of her status not even get a similar hairpin crafted because she saw it on someone and liked it? How can you be sure of someone’s identity so easily. And that is even the ancient era where you should be more cautious. Istg, the ML is dumb as f. He was probably just desperate after seeing her pretty face and thought she looks similar and has the hairpin so who cares if she really is his savior?
And secondly, don’t worry she won’t ruin her health with a little crying (Re: acting). It’d just be her makeup that’d be ruined.
My comfort is knowing that Chi Yan will fell the pain that he caused. What makes me angry is that Bai Luo will probaly forgive him, then I ask myself why I didn’t quit this manhwa yet!!!

Like, honestly? Let Chi Yan marry this girl and wind up dying horribly at her hands while she’s having an affair with her ladies maid, it’s what he deserves.
