For the commenters below, in the novel Yi’er lost their first baby because of the stress and injury, so I assume that happened too in the manhua but probably they don’t want to mention about it yet because here Yi’er has amnesia and doesn’t know he was pregnant.

Not sure what happened but for sure Pei Zheng is more like a son to that old emperor than Yi’er 🥲, Pei was always his favorite 😭. Tks for the update 👏
