So (The actual) wei yu’s brother (who our very dense ML mistook as Wei Yu) made a scheming plan to invite the real qingyu’s mother come in and when she saw wei yu, she suddenly realised it was not her actual son (that wei yu has the fake identity of qingyu). So Wei Yu’s brother thought that Wei Yu will be killed by ML but instead got pushed in the river.
Hope this cleared yiur doubts, I’m kinda bad with explaining stuff ;-;
so basically what happened is the the MC is scheming for his fake to get caught (mother is like “you’re not my son!”) and the ML would be like “you lied to me?! *kills fake*” and then MC would kill him. REMEMBER this was all the part of the SCHEME!
In reality: mother is like “you’re not my son!” to the fake and then fake says “you just don’t recognize me because I like men” and then mother pushes son which bumps into ML and both fall into the water. No everyone’s going crazy
That’s where we just finished. If you’re asking why MC is scheming, idk but I think it was mentioned a couple chaps ago that he’s on a mission and has to kill ML. Again I THINK so don’t quote me on this
