Do not believe it lol this is toxic but not in the way we are used to in manhuas. We have 🍇🍇🍇 more than once, we have manipulation from both of them, we have murder attempts too, kidnapping, betrayal too but it is all due to miscommunication and at the end they do not really harm each other in a significant way. Do not wait for a real “cute” couple of power bottom and power top, up to chap 47 there is no such thing as lovely couple behavior cuz they are not a couple rn.
Indeed this is unique, the story is based in the obssesion Yu an has for Ming yi and the way that obsession somehow ended in a murder in their first life but that obsession was not unilateral and they are working in it in the second life, the murder was not their fault but their familys fault.
You must read it if you are into unique stuff but this is slow so prepare yourself.

It’s not toxic at all….. The misunderstandings are cute and they are very close even with them …… They live each other to the point that even if the partner chooses to kill the other one, they would still forgive them and would never take revenge……. This is power bottom story so if someone has problem with ukes behaviour being masculine and hot, this is not for you…… Also, they are Power couple…….. It’s different from all the corporate family struggle plots where unnecessary kidnapping and dog blood drama is seen……..
