Summary
In a grand annual production secretly funded by the mafia, washed-up actor Lu Huaming is unexpectedly cast as the second male lead, alongside the wildly popular actor, Lu Zuo. However, filming delays test everyone’s patience, especially that of Long Xiaoyue—the project’s supervisor and mafia boss’s son. Frustrated by Huaming’s lackluster acting performance, Long Xiaoyue quickly becomes hostile toward him. Yet, as their interactions deepen, Long Xiaoyue begins to suspect that Huaming is carrying a hidden and painful burden.
