As for your second question, now in this alternative universe, Jing Shao is reborn directly from his death previous life, he didn’t know that his mother who was pregnant with his little sister died because of the poison from the fourth prince’s mother. He thinks his mother empress died at childbirth together with his unborn sister. However, that was not the case. But the truth was learned only in his second life after Jing Chen told him. So, for now he’s thinking of saving mother from dying by excessive bleeding at childbirth.

1. No it’s an idiom as far as I know…From my understanding, It’s like children’s words brings no harm…Like little kids can say the wrong thing and no one will punish them or it doesn’t mean much…it was lost in translation…
2. He’s probably talking about 2 people or his mother was pregnant with a sister…and yeah as far as I remember it was implied that empress was poisoned…
And about the last one, idk either 🙂 🙂 🙂…These extras aren’t from the novel so I have no idea what shenanigans he is up to…
Ok i found a couple of things confusing 1) Tong Yan Wuji, is this the teacher’s name? Is he referring to himself? 2) “My Mother and Imperial Sister”, is this two people or is he calling his Mother, Imperial Sister. Wasn’t it implied that his Mother was poison like his Father and others in the palace?
