Ahhh @misseve it’s normal for Chinese stories to have translations such as brother or uncle, sister or auntie etc, as in China it’s a form of endearment but also respect, adults are typically referred to as auntie or uncle plus their name even if they are not related by blood- brother and sister is used for peers typically older than yourself but around the same age
