I don’t know whether to laugh or cry at some of readers comment since they seem like Doesn’t understand the plot of the manhua itself, what “rape” and “abuse” are you guys talking about.
I understand it’s confusing because of the dialogue (translations) so let me Explain it.
The story start when the Demon king leave the heavenly realm after he get a warning from the Fish clan leader (the white hair villain) that the emperor want to kill his entire clan of Phoenix (which I’m unsure if it’s truly happen) so the demon king leave the heaven and become the demon emperor (which is sad because it’s turn out that the fish guy deceive him so he have unpaid favour to him and the fish guy only want in return is to be his wife) which considered betrayal by heaven (also I would just like to add the emperor begged him to impregnate him and I don’t know why)
during that time the emperor is pregnant and was giving birth to the crown prince (while there’s a war for Ascension as emperor not sure if that’s what the war is actually about but yeah it’s the scene where’s he’s naked and just given birth) the emperor think the demon king abandoned him to be the fish guy.
Years later they meet again that’s where our story start as they want to talk about maintaining the balance of good and bad and you know what happened next the child identity get revealed they get back together and fish guy got mad so he conspired with a strong demon to revenge.
Since the two mc do the bombayah the emperor get pregnant again which is a big problem not only to him but to all of realm demon king begged him to think it carefulness because if something happens to him during the pregnancy not only he will put himself in danger but also the other nine realm since he’s the heavenly Emperor if something corroupt him the balance will be disturb (but he wanted to be connected to the demon king so he run back to heaven realm to hide his pregnancy again Eventhough he know the risk so yeah he’s being selfish) then the demon king follow him and promise to leave his position as demon king to be with him but sadly as we see they get attack the emperor is heavily injured his husband must choose between him and the baby as the medic say the emperor shouldn’t stay in very dangerous situation as it cause rift in 9 realms the crown prince is too young to handle this and moonlight is not suitable for the throne idk why so the husband have to choose his baby or his lover (meaning his wife selfish wish or the life of those who are under his lover protection) and the end he choose to save his lover and lose the baby and get to be blamed by it by his lover (and some readers who’s not paying attention) in order to bring back their lost child the emperor went to the fish guy to ask if theres a way to do that later the emperor realize that his husband also sacrifice for everyone so he come to him and they do bombayah before he set into the journey of suffering 7 grief in life (which each grief happen in every reincarnation cycle just to clarify this won’t affect the balance of nine realm, this thing actually Considered either as turbulence or punishment depends on a divine being offense that even god of fate can’t interfere but in the heaven emperor case he take the challenge for the reward to reborn their lost child.
In order to help the emperor in his final reincarnation the god of fate send him the mortal version of his husband and the end I hope this made sense and help you understand the plot.
