pretty sure his English name is supposed to be “Damien” I think ive heard damien be reffered to as Damon before.
(cus in mandarin, sometimes the pinyin and pronounciation of an english name is completely different than what they could actually be referring to. EG: David = Dawei)
butt i might be wrong and the author had actually literally named him Damon.
