Sorry i could barely understand what you’re saying. But i need to address some things. The blindfold part was not because of preference or inferiority. It was because ml was afraid of falling in love with mc. If they have a passionate night while looking at each other’s eyes with love, he’s afraid that he’ll fall in love for mc. Also he never wanted to marry his friend. Its the friend that wanted to marry him. Im pretty sure ml never had feeling for that guy except for gratefulness because he saved his life. And as for the taking him for granted, well it’s more like hes pushing mc away of fear of falling in love. Thats why he act like a jerk.
Not saying he wasn’t in the wrong for hurting mc’s feelings all this time. But the thing about substitute and all was entirely a misunderstanding. He was foolish. He was afraid of love. Because he doesn’t want to be like his mother(or was it father) he saw what happened to his parents, falling in a deep depression after the other one died. He’s scared that he’ll be like them. That was the main reason he’s afraid of love.
But what he did ended up hurting mc. Later he regret it ofc. Character development arc and all.

He never care about his feelings….when he got hurt when he feel inferior about being blindfold about his prefrence choices he wanted to marry mls freind bully and swear mc in front of ml but he never stood for him about his his home plants and all….ml care about his friends ignore nd hust his bf because he took he granted that he will never leave his side he can do any thing….yes…regret arc was nice ….but just simply saying clothes perfume glasses cake are for him not bcuz as substitute dont clear the fact that he is the real culprit for breaking mls heart
Aww they finally reconcile for good. It was a pity those for those collection since it was from his mother. Mc was never a replacement. All those clothes and items he thought to match his ‘white moonlight’ was fake. Its the opposite instead. The white moonlight was the one that copied him.
Whatever the case, im just glad they can have a new beginning, one where they will really be honest with themselves. One where they wont be afraid to love each other anymore. Damn this is really coming to and end
