He had to be submissive so he can save his father and he couldn’t use his powers to stand up to Huner or whatever that brat’s name is cause he has a more gentle disposition i think. But i think he was pretty strong in the dungeon wen he stood up for himself. I also heard that in the novel the foreign prince runs aways with him and marries him, and there Liqing gains his confidence back. But then that jerk Qiyu kidnaps him again and from then idk what happens
this is heart breaking really. I hope handsome foreign prince escapes with him and heals him. Liqing is the most tragic character in this manhwa and maybe top 5 tragic in all the manhwas i’ve read…and that’s saying ALOT. #1 liqing defender !!
