I dont’t agree with you too.
Different people have different personality.
What i like about this manwha beside their good art is the reality of people’s tendency.
Many people who get stressed and a pushover outside have the tendency to explode in the family. And the people who tough outside but really soft with their family.
I think the author want deliver that kind of vibe where mr. Mo is a painful in the ass outside but a really pushover when being in love. And the opposite for xiao nuo who is a serious person with his job (it showed, that he can do the job tasked by mr. Mo which was really demanding) but really egocentric in relatinship.
And don’t forget, there was a panel showed that he was tired and don’t have the energy to have a realtionship. Because he is just a career oriented person, he doesn’t want to waste his energy in relationship knowing it is indeed tiring for some.
@mg forever, I really agree with your opinion, I don’t know what’s in the author’s mind, why did he make his secretary character so annoying, who easily makes decisions and always benefits, whether it’s fate that is liked by many people and never feels jealous (why doesn’t the author ever make a new male character who is only close to to the director and make the secretary jealous), for me the current storyline only benefits the secretary and is always made unpleasant for the director..no significant development
2) bruh, I would react the exact same way to having that revelation…I wouldn’t actually do it, but you can BET YOUR ASS I would me calling my best friend being like “Dude, I can’t do this, I’m out”
3) I can think of two possible reasons why he’s doing this – either he doesn’t think Mo likes him beyond being fascinated by the opportunity to explore his queerness and/or believes he’s been doing a bad job of helping him navigate that because he’s getting too wrapped up in his own pleasure OR he’s overwhelmed by someone being a lot more interested – at the moment – than he is in them and doesn’t think he can deal with that in a healthy way. Having experienced both, I can tell you neither is fun.
Also! There’s a super super super prevalent trope I’ve noticed is all over the romance genre that I won’t disparage but I also personally really don’t like, and it’s the dynamic of one partner being extremely paternalistic to the other. Obviously, that’s not something the author is interested in either, and I think that’s why I’m connecting with this. Maybe it’s an over correction here, but I’m TOTALLY into both of them being messy dumbasses, frankly!
I lost all interest now. Secretary is just too selfish. He does whatever he thinks he doesn’t even care that he is talking to his boss and does whatever. Really annoying
