It’s going slow because Song Yu is hiding his desire, just like he said that when he 6 year old he got labled as big brother. So he has play the role of a big brother. Hiding his feelings which is getting increasing day by day.
And on the other hand, lele has not yet realised his feelings for his brother.
The author first showed the relationship between the two and is trying to.ake us understand why song yu is stopping himself from expressing his feelings and why Lele has not yet realised his feelings for his brother.
Because they live in a society where BL is quite not acceptable.
But now, lele has realised his feelings and maybe in the next chapter we can witnessed a confession.
