I think if I did understand the guy sacrificed himself for the other one but they left him.. then the little mushroom appeared and idk was taking is dna or idk c he want to take kinda a revenge on the human so when he died he took his umm not body c we saw the bones but yk like the appearance anyways that’s what I understood
