This is the reason why I have a clear opinion to my family when they told me that I should help my mom/family my step sibs..
I clearly told them that I’ll help because I wanted to not because I’m obligated to do so.
Most of Asian parents thinks that their children is an investment but not all of them gave them security (e.g good education and/or environment)the kid itself will find a way to survive, to raise to the top only to be obligated to help their parents as if the parents do their job to a raise a child well. 🤷🏻♀️
That’s the problem with parents. When give their children everything, do everything for them but actually they want and except the same thing for their children. You can say that they only everything for us just so that we can do the same for them in their old age. It’s investing in a company to get returns.
When you do something for others, you do it wholeheartedly, don’t expect the same from them. It applies to parents also. They say they are doing everything for their children and expect the same. It’s sounds like business not love. It doesn’t apply to all parents. But parents like su Zhong mom, first she made her child like that, an emotional less person, then when xiao Yu brought some colors to his life. He is living happily. So she is angry because he is not under her control anymore.
Yeah, the mother should try and understand that she is trying to control her son and that it is not good. And those motherfuckers that call themselves families are just blood sucking dickheads. U were trying to sell ur son off for money that u didn’t work for. Looking for job that u are not qualified for and being entitled to someone’s money.
