I really like this manhua, for me it’s their healthy unhealthiness that is charming. Is Pei Suyue a red flag? Yes, he’s very fucked in the head, but it’s the factor of not trying to filter or eventually make him a good person who always wanted the best for everyone that makes this manhua stand out. Su Yichen doesn’t think “I’ll fix him”, he loves Suyue wholeheartedly, and doesn’t really care about what the other’s love for him means; he has separated every other character from Us > The world (excepting the other people that stood with him through all, not highly regarding Shen Y as much) As in his own words, he only wishes for at the very least for PSYUE to spare some love for himself. None of them are green flags, but that’s what makes this appealing.
