I think he questioning why this weird mf is stalking him. First he was in that one class then he met and touched him at the bookstore, then he was in the same class, and last he gave him a water the moment he ran out. It also looks like he is walking home in the same direction. Also this mofo iis always sad around him lol. I would be creeped tf out as well.
he might have also time traveled back to 2018, he might be the reason mc is there in the first place. So I think thats him trying to figure out how the mc feels about them not being close anymore, to test him and see if there is a chance he has feelings for him as well, feelings he might not be aware of, I mean we were told the mc is stupid XD
