I don’t blame the ML and for those who think the ML is shit I really don’t know what to say but open your damn eyes, imagine being betrayed by the one you trusted the most for 10,000 years, not one visit not one news, then suddenly out of the blue you come out and then you continuously try to find some hope but ends up getting lied to over and over again by an immature MC who apparently don’t know how to grow for the past 10,000 years. God, I hate MC’s like these.

I’ve said it before, but foxy and the one who looks like Alphinaud with extensions should totally both be allowed machetes and the chance to just go absolutely buckwild on these trash mfers, as a treat.
Ok. so like…I think one stylistic choice that this makes that I (personally, this is totally subjective, for you it might totally work) find really…I guess stressful or frustrating might be the right word…is how it kind of…goes in circles? Like, this song and dance of misunderstanding or escape/recapture, punishment has happened…what, like, five, six times now? Personally, if it was me, I would cut that to two and used the time to make the audience really fall in love with the lead, and also for some flashbacks for context. Right now, the poor lead is just being punted by various assholes around the story and not being forthcoming at a point where I think doing so and risking his love for the greater good (that IS why he’s not doing it, right? because he can’t for some narrativium reasons?) in a way that I think would really endear him to the audience. That said, this is a personal take, and I’m sure the unwavering loyalty really works for a lot of people reading this. Me though, and it looks like a lot of other people commenting as well, I’m all about misting up at the “close your eyes” moment 😛
