This chapter was better paced in the novel tbh 😅. Cheng Jin had to go through a lot of pain and trouble to finally accept being a servant in exchange for the blue gem. it didn’t happen in five minutes. And a lot of information are cut out, like from where did Lu Tao get that bracelet, but the manhua gave us so many precious moments that weren’t described in the novel : The kiss on Cheng Jin’s hands, their embrace on the sofa, and ofc Cheng Jin’s appearance in maid outfit 🥰 although it’s painful to see him endure the humiliation 🥺
