While B has the most survival rate to the virus thats why B type are common since they are more populated and they have more resistance hence not much mutation unlike A and O.
AB has the most least survival of them all so his child being AB would not survive their environment and the mutation so it died at young age.
And why O types are highly sought for and rare is because they are only a few who survived the virus and pregnancy with O would lead to less likely to become a AB offspring unlike a offspring with a B where they have the high rate to get AB if mated with alpha.
Second is B types can only get pregnant once, thats why the uke revealed to song that he already got pregnant once so that song wont check him anymore since it would be impossible for him to get pregnant again since he is an B.
(Well plottwist in this part tho) while O can get pregnant multiple times.
