nope no regression! the dream was wht really happened and ML thought it was a dream coz of the drug’s effects.
so the story so far is that that teacher [ML] is the survivor of a executed traitor family, became teacher to the crown prince and taught him very harshly, making him kneel and beating him or punishing him over small mistakes
the crown prince acted sweet with him while growing up then showed his fangs when the ML made the prince’s 2nd brother the emperor
now the ex-crown prince who held back his fangs all this time is using the ML’s secrets/weaknesses to make the ML do wht he wants
and he started by drugging the ML’s tea and “taking” him.
