He suffers tremendously ( great he deserved it 😄) as he matures, becomes patient and persistent, recognizes his mistakes, tries to be a good father to their first son( the moments with Ning Mo are epic 🤣) and does everything,absolutely everything to redeem his mistakes.
So personally I think that even though his redemption is well written and he redeems himself in every way, it’s hard to forget and erase the atrocious acts. Besides Cen Li takes almost 100 chapters before she forgives him 😅
In the end Ning Xiuyuan is the least worst of the 4 trash semes.

By the way their Uke either committed suicide or died… this novel is really one of the most toxic and depressive I have read.😩😖
