I wouldnt feel satisfied with just the ml dying willingly to repent. As of right now, I want him to feel the same pain of betrayal as mc. I want ml to reach a point where he starts feeling like mc has given up on the whole killing thing and has feelings for him, then BAM, mc does a “HA HA YOU THOUGHT MF!!” It probably wont happen though so welp.
