Their love can’t be this shallow, they were not forced in relationship how can you assume that MC was bad to uke all along. The author slightly mentioned that uke was actually truly till a year ago even if it was not perfect the he wanted but he was still happy. Untill the MC actually got really busy with company started being irritating. What they need was proper communication which they both never initiated probably which is lead to this unwanted situation that they both don’t like neither expected. I am not saying that MC is right and pure no . HE WAS DAMN WRONG. But you can’t just he never cared about his own lover at all . There had to be something for them to be together for seven years.
