Summary
After a string of consecutive box-office failures, even his latest drama is canceled early. Before long, drama producer Baek Seung-jun finds himself being mocked as someone who “keeps making failed dramas and has resorted to filming documentaries.”
With nowhere else to turn, he encounters Nam Yi-won, a star director known as the godfather of over-the-top, makjang dramas.
“I want to make a drama with you, sunbae.”
Seung-jun immediately refuses. He can’t bear the thought of turning the project he’s spent so long preparing into a sensationalized makjang drama.
But Yi-won keeps provoking and challenging him.
Eventually, Seung-jun accepts Yi-won’s proposal, only to find that the production is plagued by one incident after another from the very beginning.
As the two work together to solve each problem, they gradually grow closer. And before long, Seung-jun starts finding Yi-won’s smooth, teasing behavior increasingly difficult to ignore…
