It was actually explained earlier when they just started to know each other that little spoon is a deliberate nickname from Jing shao’s mother, and jun Qing immediately picked it up himself
For people who are confused why he was calling him “little spoon” is because shaozi means spoon in mandarin. The translator might’ve been confused and wrote Little Spoon instead of Xiao Shao (Xiao means little in mandarin). Damn, never knew learning mandaring would be this helpful ๐
