If (and I’m saying if, we know that probably isn’t the case) Tunan’s father is the one who orders all of that, that would means Li Cuanxing’s life is in danger if he gets embroiled with the royal family once more.
I don’t think it’s wrong not wanting your child to get involved with your enemy, if it concerns their life and death. Of course, since we knew Tunan is a good guy, we don’t worry about that at all! But his father is not an objective observer like us, so he wouldn’t know about that.
To me the only enemy I see is Doulan even thiugh I havent read this before or even if this story has a novel, I have not read it yet. So the inly person if not the King, not Miss Xu’ father and not ChuanXing’s father then its only left is… Doulan.
