   twins awakened as sentinels much earlier than usual, prompted by anxiety at mc’s suggestion to slowly cut him off from their lives

   mc promised to be with them as they undergo (painful and long) awakening but still broke his promise and left them after hearing the twins’ mother mutter that they have to be s-ranked

   their mother is an s-ranked sentinel, the father is an s-ranked guide. high chances that they only got married to produce an s-ranked awakener lmfao. plus if i understood correctly, the couple are not even imprinted to each other despite being married (maybe not yet at this flashback, then got imprinted some point in the past before trying for their third child🤷‍♀️)

   theory: mc was already feeling guilty living with the twins’ family because of reasons stated last chapter. then as if those weren’t still enough, the twins just have to awaken early and he’s probably aware he’s the reason why. the twins’ rank didn’t meet their parents’ expectations and mc most likely blames himself for it😅
