While I also don’t agree with the kms sentiment, I don’t think we read the same thing. Ji Tengyu and He Zhuo were an arranged marriage. Ji Tengyu however had liked He Zhuo already. Ji Tengyu tried for a while while in the relationship but had been a victim to war. He was partially deaf and lame in one leg. Zhou didn’t know either of these two things but didn’t excuse him for getting violent when he thought he was being ignored and and Ji Tengyu for failing to stand. He Zhou knew Ji Tengyu had anxiety about his heat but didn’t know why. He Zhou still forced Ji Tengyu on multiple occasions and even tried to invoke jealousy by bringing other omegas around. You cannot say the Ji Tengyu was a bad husband. Even He Zhou admits that Ji Tengyu hadn’t done anything wrong he pushed Ji to the edge. He saw that Ji Tengyu was deteriorating mentally and only kept responding with negligence or violence. Ji Tengyu for all that it was worth was better than most. Nothing he did deserved what He Zhou retaliated with but everything He Zhou did deserved what Ji Tengyu responded with. Who legitimately gives away someone’s keep sake because you’re angry and don’t even know what it is? Don’t excuse his bad behavior as just short comings he was blatantly ignorant out of negligence. Because the moment he bothered to care he actually researched.
Nanas wife…. That was a pretty childish thing to say. No one should wish death upon anyone. That is the type of Karma that will haunt you. This all comes back to communication. In his previous life, Ji Tengyu didn’t treat his husband well, and He Zhuo had no idea he was suffering silently. Even in this life, Ji Tengyu says hurtful sh*t left, right, and center to He Zhuo. The difference is that his husband now knows his reactions and the ‘actual’ meaning behind them.
Also, in case you missed it, He Zhuo ‘already’ killed himself. If he kills himself again, would you be satisfied with Ji Tengyu marrying his ‘brother’ instead? This entire story is about He Zhuo acknowledging his shortcomings and humbling himself to make up for all the wrongs he unknowingly did in his last life. Why do people act like the ML isn’t supposed to have ‘feelings’? When they are wronged and have very real ‘human reactions’, somehow they are made out to be villains. And then girls wonder why guys are fed up with dating….sig.h
