I dont think He was ever really a bad guy he didn’t know how to love but after thinking he lost YanYan he realized how much he actually cared about him. He was afraid of love that’s why he covered his eyes during sex but now he wants to embrace it. This is a sweet manga and to be honest he never was a stand-in like the title says.
