Omg, and while I’m broadly on LiQing’s side (or more specifically I’m on everyone’s side who isn’t part of the royal family LMAO) and continue to love his clothing, I’m embarrassed to say his design, like Yu’er’s, completely doesn’t work for me as like this show stopping gorgeous stunner (I don’t dislike it! it’s just IMHO he’s cute in a like a shounen protagonist wearing a 35 inch wig way…when I first started the series, I genuinely thought it was meant to be a mousey protag nabs boyfriend with personality type situation) – the prince’s line about being distracted by beauty completely baffled me for like a minute because I thought he was talking about the palace grounds 😳🫢
