You can tell because when he speaks about “her” there are always quotation marks around the female words and his direct servants speak to him about “her” with gender neutral pronouns & even use male pronouns sometimes.. the prince is fully aware & by now I would assume he had someone look into it & knows the situation but is obviously keeping it hush hush because he likes his yu-er
