Anubis and Mimi somehow merge into one and or Anubis gives mimi his powers / sacrifices something in order for mimi to be petrified. Pretty much established that Anubis operates on consent so Mimi must have become a stone statue willingly.
The stone statue allows Mimi to stay in a dormant state and wait the 3,200 years until he can see our MC in the future. Something probably is going to happen to MC now (foreseeing tragedy) and disappears idk. Therefore Mimi chooses to āhibernateā so he can see MC again. Some foreshadowing in ch 1 when MC said that Mimi was someone he trusted to wait for him.
BUT ending on tragedy would be too bad.
So somehow MC goes back to his OG timeline
Mimi merges with Anubis after settling the empire or idk some catastrophe or some reason why historical records of this period are so murky (maybe to blur the existence of MC? Because Anubis has the ability to make Mimi forget about MC Iām assuming can probably extend to society)
And then MC in the OG timeline now possesses some knowledge or maybe fr special powers and manages to revive Mimi as well or go back in time idk.
