The manhua changed, added and extended a lot of things from the novel (which makes it a lot better and I’m glad they did it), the first scene is a little conversation that happened between chapters, but the second scene is actually from the original way Jiang Shen first confessed to Bai Jinyi.
It’s the same with the swan lake dance but it happened in his hometown, and Bai Jinyi took until the next day to correspond his feelings while they collect oranges, and about Jiang Shen parents’ not knowing but catching their couple behavior is from some chapters after the confession.
