I think because he erased yang yang memories I think it took a toll on him because at the end of the plane he did the erasing he told yang yang to wait for him and didn’t remember him after that plane. So I think he also forgot and only remembers the recent planes as yang yang.
What about his identity as immortal emperor???? Zhiyang forgot about his identity as immortal emperor because of him. Because he forcefully erased yang yang memory. But what about his memories??? Did he also forgot everything??? Did he just forget about that particular plane or everything???
