I’m actually laughing out about Shen Chiangliu’s confession it was so funny 🤣 that it made him look at idiot, insincere, insensitive, scum ML that he is.. were lucky to have an MC who isn’t a pushover if not this will be a long dog blooded drama. And it will hurt so much cause even after what the ML has done the MC still love and forgive these types of men 😫

Ml did fell for the act but for him to so easily move on from him childhood sweetheart means that the feelings weren’t that deep..he said it himself later that it was mostly to rebel against his controlling fam. Su Bai was arrogant and confident that ml’s feelings for him will never change. So he act spoilt and didn’t care much for ml. Then there was mc who was caring and everything Su Bai wasn’t, even if it was an act, ml fell for him. His affections for MC is genuine. And bc ml is manipulative he uses MC’s *winks* soft spot for him to get him to forgive him..
And ml didn’t fall for og Mo Zhiyang maybe bc he was always very jealous, insecure and fought alot with ml even tho he knew Ml’s reason to have a relationship with him was bc he was a stand-in for Su Bai. Their relationship was toxic and I am not condoning Ml’s behaviour. Og Mo Zhiyang should’ve respected himself more and left ml.

Sorry to spoil the fun but this is my 6th time rereading this manhua and I just wanna point out that although it was rude, Su Bai was kinda right…I mean if not for him the two would’ve never met and if not for the MC’s on point acting and skills Shen Changliu probably wouldn’t even like Mo Zhiyang so much in the first place as shown in the original host’s first life, also just putting this out there Shen Changliu is falling in love with the MC’s act, not him sooo 🙂
