It was really more heart breaking in the novel. As far as I remember the only thing Gayan mentioned in the novel during this chapter was “I’m sorry Eros” and then he left . The saddest part was during their funeral , their teacher showed the scene which was the graduation ceremony( coming of age?) of all five generals . Although I know its QT but its really heart breaking knowing they did not end up well in this arcππ
