I’m still trying to figure out why this appeals to me so much whilst so many stories with similar content make me want to hurl.
I think it boils down to the fact that it’s not dodging the fact that almost every character in it is…kind of a really terrible person. 😂 And maybe also because both of the leads have so much agency in the story, even if they use that agency for TRULY unhinged shit.
