I just finished reading the whole novel. Both of them really take each other seriously later, and the plot development and character development are very interesting.
If you’re familiar with the author SQC she usually writes this sort of questionable shi so this isn’t really out of the norm for her lmfao TT

Hai, spoiler, Im a bit forgot bcs its like 2 or 3 years ago I read this Novel. In my memory, Yu Fencheng make many bad habit. I mean, always torture our baby in many ways. Although there is some scene when Fencheng seriously help him in the battle field when almost all Xinyu teammate died ( forgot bcs there’s too many battle). When the novel End, Fencheng and Xinyu together. But still, he’s such a bad person in any way before he change..
The novel itself its interesting like Codename Anastasia’s Novel, this Fencheng here like Zhenya… love to torture their future wifey… its Good in my opinion. Im sorry if my comment have any mistake or false vocabulary, english’s not my 1st language, but I love read many manhua/wa/nga or novel in english.
