I don’t know if you guys skip reading or what but those who are confuse the “teacher”(which is not he’s a school doctor/nurse but that’s how they’re called) was introduce in chapter 6 and he’s only 24 and Lixia is 19 which is actually considered legal age in most Asian countries so 24-19= 6 so they only have six years age gap (idk that was now considered Philadelphia now a days correct me if I’m wrong)
But base on my understanding when the teacher said “I won’t be with you forever” sounds like he have no intention to be in relationship with Lixia (Eventhough he have a feelings for him) other than trying to take good care of him and fulfill his duty as guardian ( but knowing that this is manhua that won’t happen since he’ll be with him still since that’s where the plot is heading)
