Oh also! It’s interesting reading these types of comics sometimes because it takes me some time to realize why I’m reacting to certain things the way I am – and before I say what I’m about to, I wanna make a distinction between READERS calling Yan “little rabbit” and “baby” and stuff and the way the comic seems to be presenting him. I also recognize that I’m working off a free translation that may not be an accurate reflection of the writer’s intent.
So like…I’m an extremely petite person. The way I tend to be described is either “pixie” or “doll-like”. People have a tendency to literally pet me without my permission and such. It’s funny because so many people I know were baffled when I got to my late 20s and started wearing extremely dramatic makeup and got a few piercings.
I say all that to say…when THE COMIC (not readers, y’all babygirlify and woobify literally anyone you want IMHO LMAO) describes him as “little bunny” and has people dragging him around the story, often literally, it *REALLY* gets me, because I know I hate it, and in my experience, nobody in that position likes that treatment as much as people looking in seen to.
THAT SAID, this is an *EXTREMELY* personal reaction based very much on feelings over facts :P. I can absolutely see how for others it would be appealing.
Go my little rabbit, I was sad that you forgive him to easily he didn’t even tried hard enough to get your forgiveness. Let him be a little more miserable, make him realise what wrong he committed
If that’s a “tempting appearance”, I must need my eyes examined – the artist is INCREDIBLY talented, but someone must have told them to make him look like a thumb 😛
Also, he just assaulted you, babe, might I recommend smothering him with one of those convenient pillows on your way out :3
@ everyone no worries the ML will suffer more in the future, but sadly same goes for the MC (and yes the one to hurt him is the ML).
BUT they’ll both work a lot on their relationship and as a result we got the beautiful story The Falling Merman with their oldest son as the MC.
