Ok this makes no sense at all – so is the report Yan had was fake, saying he WAS pregnant. I’d assumed up until now that he’d simply refused to look at it because he sort of knew but wanted a baby so badly.
The actual order of events however seems to have been thus – Yan is given a fake report confirming the pregnancy. Initially Shangjin sees this report, but he…goes to the hospital to confirm and gets the real one???
See, that’s completely baffling to me because presumably this ugly disgusting spider man would like, want whoever he had at the hospital to stay there, which would mean the whole thing would have had to be faked in their records. And why would Shangjin assume first that Yan had like done some elaborate lie first.
Also, ok, how is Yan going to be a weapon. The story keeps trying to tell me Yan is badass but like, aside from idk riding a motorcycle and doing one fancy flip move, all he seems to be able to do is fall on the ground and cry. I have no problem at all with a delicate character, that’s completely fine, the only thing that annoys be is being told that I’m not actually reading what I’m reading.
Unless he means to like control Shangjin by virtue of having him, in which case why would you try to convince the psycho that he’d had sex with someone else and sour him on him.
