I feel like the alpha doesn’t really love his omega and never did. Alpha found out it’s a nice feeling that he was the center of the Omega’s world. He was just convinient at first, he could fight and would do everything for him, but then got annoyed by his constant affection and dumped him since he realized he doesn’t need his love or care that just gets on his nerves. He can just find another omega who would only suck up to him and have sex with if he wants. Right now he lost his father and feels like he wants to go back to the times when HE was happy so he got back with omega, because he is the only person who can make him feel like they returned to the past. He wants someone who would only remind him of the past happiness. It’s just sad. Omega truly loves him but the Alpha is just self-centered shit who doesn’t deserve him. I bet that if something were to happen to Yan Yi at one point, he would fret for a while, but then find himself another source of comfort. He’s not irreplaceable for alpha when it comes to a relationship, the only thing that cant be replaced is the feeling of nostalgia and peace he feels while being with Yan Yi.

2) he wants the kid as..relationship therapy???
3) he’s wanting to get back with his former partner…because that’s what you do at 30…?
