So the fox is a good guy. That demon which came to steal ml’s essence must’ve tried to harm the eggs but ml told that no one except mc and ml could touch the eggs so the demon must’ve failed and in this process the fox somehow got involved and rescued the eggs but he too got his essence(?) stolen.. That’s what i understood.
