And I’m not talking about like, PDF stuff – does this person know how to keep the kid safe in the house (do they keep the knives out of reach when they’re in the kitchen, is the bathroom safe, are they going to keep an eye on them if the child goes out into the yard, are they going to be responsible about smoking?) is their stash kept appropriately away from the child, are they going to handle tantrums responsibly?
