An Nan Yi is the exact same as the rest of his blood related parents and sibling in that sense: he was always at the receiving end for everything: a wealthy family, loving parents who never refused him anything, brothers that spoiled him to death and he only ever kept on getting without giving anything in return, nor feeling grateful for his blessings: An Nan Yi and his family all think they are entitled to the An family’s money and favors as it was their own, and now feel they are being treated unfairly when things didn’t go their ways after all the awful crimes that have commited.
Things are crystal clear though: if An Nan Yi wasn’t so black hearted and had returned all the love he was given with gratefulness by revealing the truth about their real younger son or, at the very least!, simply not done anything at all, then he wouldn’t have been abandoned. But he decided to destroy the child of his favorite brothers and beloved parents, and in their past lives he didn’t stop until our poor Qingyan was totally annihilated 🙁
