He was blind. He couldn’t understand anything. No, he WASN’T ABLE TO understand everything. Souls can change.
But this is meaningless tho. This story has made me nothing of death now. Literally everyone dies and comes back in the next 30 chs.
This villain needs more punishment not just a slap on the wrist. Lock him in a cold dungeon for 100 years or something. This is so stupid. He is literally just undoing what he did wrong but what about all the hurt he gave others? All evil plotting? No justice for the common humans?

One thing that also really impresses me about this series is that when people do the turn, they’re not just making it up to their love interest. In fact, in the case of the Emperor…it’s almost like…the opposite? He can’t get his shit together to communicate with his lil merman, but he’s VERY interesting in rectifying what he did to his kid. I really appreciate that! It makes the whole thing feel WAY more genuine!
Unfortunately unlike Jiu Chen this guy’s design doesn’t make it enough for me to like him though LOL ^^;;
