Honestly this is just a lamer version of “His Highness’s Allure” manhua. The MC is “a fool” from an injury when he was young, and the ML is a horrible possessive pos, but at least he makes no excuses for his behavior (he acknowledges many times that he’s an asshole). I really encourage people to read that manhua instead.. this one just takes the gist of that story and makes it idiotic, while the characters from “His Highness’s Allure” are at least consistent in their characterizations

Yup!! His husband and son loved him! Qian Qian loved them too! He might have liked his husband in a different kinda way cuz I assume tht Qian Qian had loved junli at tht time too.
Also idk y they wrote tht dialogue cuz in the novel instead of this it was written how Qian Qian always felt lonely when he saw other kids with their parents. I think wht u said makes sense haha

Like there’s so many threads in this thing that just sort of get tossed in and dropped, right? Qian also had a husband and son too, a son in particular he risked a LOT to save from Junli – surely they’re family and love him as well!

I think he means that his grandpa was like the high lord and all right, so though he cared about him, they didn’t spend much time with each other, did they? Like they didn’t have strong bonding. Also in the novel, there isn’t anything written about Qianqian not getting love from his family, I mean Junli didn’t say those lines in the novel.
And yeah the kiss part’s translation is really wrong Lol the actual one was as u said
“If you ever want to express gratitude to someone, just kiss me”…? What a fucking freak LOL – that said, I’ll try to give it the benefit of the doubt and assume that’s a translation error and that the actual translation was “if you ever want to express gratitude to me you can kiss me”
Also…Qian never got love from his family??? I mean sure his father seemed like a dick over the whole mother dying in childbirth thing, but his gramps seemed like a sweetie who genuinely cared a lot about him…idk, seems like an abusive excuse to isolate Qian.
